Return Policies
 
Who pays for return shipping?
 
For a return, you are responsible for the cost of returning the merchandise. Your return will be processed and your credit card credited within ten business days. Please allow up to two billing cycles for a refund to appear on your credit card statement.
 
For an exchange, you are responsible for the cost of returning the merchandise. If you request a replacement item of equal or lesser value, there is no charge to ship the item to you. However, if you would like to upgrade your shipping method or purchase additional items, you are responsible for the cost of the additional items and shipping charges. If the exchange is of lesser value, we will need permission to credit your credit card for the original order and place a new order.
 
In the unlikely event that we have inadvertently sent you incorrect merchandise or you received damaged merchandise, please notify us within 2 business days, we will reimburse you for the cost of returning the package to us, and we will not charge you for the shipping costs of replacement merchandise, by failing to notify us with in 2 business days you will then be responsible for the return cost to us, and it will be processes as a return/exchange. Please make sure to inspect the order as soon as it arrives. There will be no exceptions.
 
We are not responsible for damage to products in transit back to us. Please make sure that the item(s) are returned in a sturdy package (such as a padded envelope or box, similar to the way the items were originally sent). To ensure the package arrives back to us safely and that you are credited, please use a pre-paid, insured and trackable method (such as UPS, FedEx, Certified mail, etc.) where you receive a shipping slip that can be used to track the delivery. Overnight shipping is not necessary. Many carriers offer low cost ground shipping and allow you to track your delivery.
 
How do I return something?
 
You will find a return and exchange form enclosed with your order. To return an item, fill out the appropriate portion of the form and enclose it with the merchandise you are returning. Please indicate on the form whether you would prefer a refund or an exchange, and allow ten business days for your return or exchange to be processed. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Initial shipping fees as well as return and exchange shipping costs are not refundable. Return the item in the packaging in which it was received. This is the original brand packaging in which each item is wrapped, not the box or bag in which the items were shipped.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the merchandise with all tags attached within 30 days for an exchange or refund. Items must be in NEW, UNUSED, UNWORN, NOT SOILED, UNWASHED, NOT DAMAGED, ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH ALL TAGS ATTACHED, ALSO ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGEING MUST BE UNDAMAGED, UNMARKED, NOT TORN. NO EXCEPTIONS!
 
Upon our inspection we will NOT accept returns of items with obvious signs of use, or if we see wear and tear or damage to the item(s), also if tags are torn off and/or packaging damaged. If you return items in used condition, or in any condition that does not meet our standards, you will be responsible for the cost to have them shipped back to you. Credits or charges due will be issued to the original credit card.
 
Returns for refund after 30 days will result in an online store credit. Please allow ten (10) business days for your return/exchange to be processed. Initial shipping fees as well as return and exchange shipping costs are not refundable. All Express/Priority/International shipping charges are non-refundable.
 
If your order gets returned to us as "refused" or "undeliverable", there will be a $10.00 restocking fee applied to your order. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
 
If you attempt to return an item(s), which is non-returnable, the item(s) will be shipped back to you, and you will be charged the cost of shipping for sending it back. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS! All PANTIES, THONGS, LINGERIE, HOSIERY, are NOT RETURNABLE, Due to sanitary/health concerns and Federal Laws. ALL ELEGANT MOMENTS LINGERIE IS NOT RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE.  ELEGANT MOMENTS LINGERIE will be accected for an exchange/return if there is a manufacturers defect, wrong style # shipped, or quantity discrepency occured.  NO OTHER EXCHANGES OR RETURNS WILL BE ACCECTED.  All clearance item(s) are final sale and are not returnable. All “Gift with Purchase” and promotional items cannot be returned or exchanged.
 
What does one do if an ELEGANT MOMENTS LINGERIE return/exchange is needed?
 
In the unlikely event that we have shipped defected merchandise, incorrect merchandise, or a quantity discrepency has occured, you must contact us with in 2 business days after you have received the goods, we will reimburse you  for the cost of returning the item(s) , and there will be no additional charges to ship the corrects goods back to you.  If you fail to contact us with in 2 business days you will be responsible for all shipping costs.  A return/exchange can be made with in 30 days of purchase, anything over 30 days will not be accepted. Please make sure to inspect the order as soon as it arrives.  There will be no exceptions.

As lingerie and intimate apparel items are delicate by nature, we offer no warranty once the tags are removed. Bras can be returned or exchanged if the tags are attached, or if the original packaging is not damaged in any way, also the bra needs to be in its original condition, not soiled, and no visible signs of use, wear, or washing.
 
Adhesive bras cannot be tried on and then returned, to return an adhesive bra it must be in its original state and the packaging cannot be damaged. Bra accessories must be in their original packaging, unworn, unused, and unopened to be returned or exchanged. To exchange or return a girdle (panty/long leg/one piece) all tags must be attached, garment must be in original condition, no signs of use, wear, or washing. It is recommended that if you must try on anything with a crotch, that you try it on while wearing your underwear.

Tips For Trying on a Bra
 
Here are some suggestions for trying on a bra so that if it doesn’t fit properly, or doesn’t meet your standards, it will be in returnable or exchangeable condition.
 
1. Please make sure you have no oils or greasy lotion/creams on your body.
2. Please make sure you are not wearing any deodorants that can soil the garment you are trying on.
3. It is recommended that you bathe before trying on any garments
4. If you have dry/flaky skin, please treat the problem properly before trying on the garment, due to the fact that this can leave markings on the garment.
5. When trying on a bra do not button and twist it into place, this is not a good habit in general, and this could lead to a shorter life span of the bra, and it may lead to noticeable wear signs on the garment, which in turn can lead to refusal in the return/exchange department. Please make sure you reach behind and button the bra into place.
6. Trying on longline bras/bustiers can be more difficult. It is always best if you could ask for some assistance when trying to button the bra. Some individuals are able to button a longline bra/bustiers by reach to the back and buttoning it all the way. If you cannot get assistance here is a tip for buttoning a longline bra/bustiers: put on an extra large pair of pantyhose, and pull them up over the stomach, all the way up under the breasts. Than button the bra in the front and GENTLY twist/turn the bra into its proper place. By not following these suggestions it may lead to wear signs and damage to the bra, which can lead to refusal in the return/exchange department.
 
Tips For Trying on a Girdle
 
Here are some suggestions for trying on a girdle so that if it doesn’t fit properly, or doesn’t meet your standards, it will be in returnable or exchangeable condition.

6. Please be sure to remove any jewelry from hands, wrists, and ankles as some jewelry may catch on the garments and pull or damage them.
7. Please note that girdles/shapers may look small at first glance; these items will stretch to fit your natural shape.
8. Gather up the sides so you are holding the entire garment piece in your hands. Step into the leg holes and pull up until you get to the spot where you would like the shaper to be. Unroll the garment upward without twisting; unroll the garment downward when necessary. Smooth out until everything is flat.
